About Us

The basis of the Coram Deo Foundation is built on:

The Bible
The Coram Deo Foundation believes the Bible is God’s written revelation to man and comprised of 66 books, given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is an objective, propositional revelation, verbally inspired in every word, infallible and absolutely inerrant in the original manuscripts.

God
There is only one true and living God. God is an infinite, all-knowing Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence and eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each equally deserving worship and obedience.

God the Father
He is the Creator of all things. He is sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption. His fatherhood involves both His designation within the Trinity and His relationship with mankind. As Creator, He is Father to all men, but He is Spiritual Father only to believers. He continually upholds, directs, and governs all creatures and events. In His sovereignty, He is not the author of sin nor does He approve of sin. Moreover, He does not lessen the accountability of moral, intelligent creatures. He saves all those who come to Him from their sin and becomes their Father.

God the Son
He possesses all the divine attributes of God and is coequal, consubstantial, and coeternal with the Father. God the Father created the heavens and the earth through His Son, Jesus Christ, by whom all things continue in existence and are held in operation. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin by the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit and by this, kept free from the pollution of sin. Jesus was God incarnate. The Scriptures clearly teach that Christ is completely equal with the Father in His Person and His work. Philippians 2:6 declares without equivocation that Jesus is to be all that God is and that He possesses the whole fullness of attributes of Deity. In the incarnation, Christ surrendered only the prerogatives of deity but none of His divine essence. In His incarnation, the Son – eternally existing second person of the Trinity – accepted all the essential characteristics of humanity and so became the God-man.

God the Holy Spirit
The third person of the Trinity, coexistent and equal with God the Father, God the Son, “but the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all the things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and gives new life to those who trust in Jesus. He indwells all believers and is available to empower them to lead Christ-like lives. The Spirit gives them spiritual gifts with which to serve fellow believers and reach out to a lost and needy world. The Holy Spirit is the all-knowing, all-seeing, everywhere-present God.
