1. Personal Essay: Essay questions are different each scholarship year. 500 words, submitted in PDF form.
First Time Applicant – Describe your future dreams, and how you can use them to serve your community and show the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Year 2 – What has surprised you the most during your first few years of post-secondary education as a Christian student? Describe any challenges. What is the greatest growth?
Year 3 – Please describe an opportunity you have had to share the Gospel since entering college. If there have been no such opportunities, please describe the challenge of being a Christian on your college campus. How would you overcome these challenges to fulfill the Great Commission?
Final Scholarship Applicant – What do you see as one of your greatest visions as you move towards working in the marketplace? What kind of Christian do you want to be in your field of study? How has this scholarship helped you in achieving closer to your dreams?
If you are applying for the Siblings of ID Category:
Tell us about your intellectually disabled sibling and how he/she has shaped or changed your life.
What are you most passionate or curious about?
What do you think that higher education will help you to do to pursue your passion/interest?
If you are applying for the Next-gen Pastors Category:
Write about your experience of surrendering to the calling of ministry and your vision. Please introduce yourself and the ministries.
2. Transcript: Academic transcript from your College/University. New students for the Fall semester can submit a high school transcript (Grade 12).
3. Proof of Family Income: Both parents’ annual income by submitting a Notice of Assessment, grants, and government benefits. All information will be confidentially stored.
4. Letter of Enrollment: Must be obtained from the Registrar’s Office of your institution and ‘full-time student’ must be listed.
5. Reference Letter: One letter of recommendation from a non-parent pastor/spiritual leader. The recommender should evaluate the applicant’s qualities as a leader serving neighbours and the kingdom of God.
*6. Proof of Parental Ministry: (PK/MK application only) A certificate of employment that supports the pastoral ministry or missionary work including the name of the parents and positions from the registered church or mission agency.
*7. Proof of Intellectually Differently-abled : (ID or Siblings of ID Category only) An official document to support your sibling’s disability. It can be a letter from your intellectually disabled sibling’s health/medical/social professional.
